Why L.I.? 

After living on both the east and west coast of the United States; driving across the country, twice; and having the privilege of free flights; I have learned that there is nowhere like home. Especially when you call Long Island, home.

 

My name is Liz and I have created this blog to share all the wonderful things that I love about living in this tiny corner of the world. As a graduate from The Culinary Academy and a current student at Farmingdale, I have decided to create this blog to share my love of food and fun. People are constantly asking me why I would ever leave California and moved back to New York. The truth is- there are many answers. This island is truly an exceptional place and sometimes after living here for so long, it can be easy to forget that. This blog and everything in it, are here to remind us all just spectacular Long Island really is.
